Question about Poweriser market
« on: September 06, 2007, 11:51:00 AM »
Hello everyone,

I'm a French business owner and I plan to sell Powerisers in France.
But I have a few questions about the possibilities of this product on market.
Do you feel like sales are good and growing on English market? (Do you see more and more of these jumping stilts in England?) Do you think it is worthy and it can be a hot new market? ???

Thank you for any advice, I would really appreciate, because I am a little worried about launching this product in France as I don't know the evolution of the sales in other countries.

Thank you very much for your reply,

Philippe

These stilts do self promote I've not seen any near me but with the number of poeple how come up and ask about them if only a small number go on and buy that more to promote in this area.
The London Bock had nearly 70 and that was even on a wet weekend ( Bocking is best in the dry  ;D ) so that number was low, next year they'll be at least that ( dare I say over 100 ).

Actually I really have no idea how many to plan for and thats why im trying to get the council involved too. Without knowing how much bigger the sport will be next year it is impossible to guess. I'd say 200 on the current trend but I really think it could be a lot more than that in the right circumstances.
Its going to be madness and great fun at the same time, much like bocking.

The PA is the least of my worries, but its one that is already taken care of. I've also got a restaurant that is willing to serve bockers only for a few hours :)

In Cardiff the bocking is all in one location, there is no bocking of anywhere. There is no need to. I think the plan is to take it to Edinburgh the following year.

I think it is going to be a different capital each year - I'm sure ET will tell us once he reads the posts

Is he still going to be organising things after he moves? There was another guy organising the scotland one, not ET...

The Scotland one was cancelled as the person organising it was actually the only one going. And I think the only reason he tried organising it was so he could be a marshall, as he emailed me asking if I could ask ET if he could be a marshall for Cardiff, and I said no as you had to help organise it to be a marshall, and suddenly he's organising a capital bocking meet for Scotland... :D

In ET's absence I will be organising Cardiff with the help of um...people!

Seeing as there are not many bockers in scotland yet it would make more sense to do scotland the year after. But that doesnt mean there cannot be other meets in scotland, but the idea is capital bocking is THE big one.
(this thread seems to have gon astray)

Hi everyone,
Thanx for your answers (even if the topic changed a little ;)). If anyone has other information about poweriser market, and evolution of sales (if anybody knows figures of sales in any country...), please don't hesitate!
Thank you again,
have a good powerbocking,

Philippe
