Riser trousers, eh?  I'll put it on the list, but I think those will require sewing skills from those who want to make a pair.

Or a nan  :haha:

Good work.  The spring armour looks very rugged, hard wearing and of course cool.  Keep the ideas coming. :D

Since there's not been an update for a few weeks, I thought I'd let people know what's in the works.

The next major tutorial is another spring cover.  Actually, it will go over several types..
This will be a very comprehensive how-to; there will even be printable patterns  :o

I've also been experimenting with different materials to balance durability, weight, and style  8)
Here is a new material I've found.  It's a heavy duty textured vinyl that seems like it will hold up very well:

It's cheap, very lightweight and quite durable.  The only minus is the fact that it won't absorb impacts as well as a heavy bike tyre.

Between the pet store, hardware supply, and/or department stores you should find everything you need.
Just make sure you find good quality materials; pay particular attention to the buckles on the collars.

Also, make sure you enter for a chance to win a free pair here:

If no luck, everything will be available at the site when it is re-launched in about a week :)

- The spring cover pictured above, although highly abrasion resistant, did not survive a direct hit from a sharp object  :(  Back to bike tires..
On a side note, using the straps featured in the raffle, I've not had to make even the slightest adjustment over the last 10 bocking sessions  8)
