I cut up an old pair of trainers; trimmed the sides off to match the hoof width and left the toe section on with laces.
When finished, I had two small bock shoes... but I found them to be unsightly, so I never used them
To tell the truth, I find it hard not to laugh when I see bocks with trainers on

True, the trousers would complete the look.
What type of pants are you going for? Poofy, fitted, 3/4?

Flares as in normal length pants flared to fit over the stillts, or full stilt length?
If the latter, careful not to trip.
Using child trainers would appear as giant legs, tiny feet

I prefer using the kids ones as they just fit better, when I tried adult ones they just felt weird.

Hmm... tried a few, they fit fine and the ideas good... but they jus look s@%t! Tyre socks look way better and beefier... I think the whole problem lies around the fact that their made specifically for feet and not hoofs but i'll keep trying...
