New Monitor
« on: August 27, 2008, 07:59:22 PM »
Nothing to do with bocking but I bought a new monitor today and am so happy with it I had to tell you lot

I have had a 19" crt for years now and kept thinking about a replacement but finally got a push due to having a credit note for Morgans

I went and bought a 22" widescreen tft for £150 (the 19" cost me £250 about 6 years ago) and I cannot believe the difference

It is gonna change my life  :haha: so anyone thinking of upgrading their monitor do it

Dual monitors kick ass!

Where i went for work experience it was standard to have 2 monitors, some even had 3 or 4, lol
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

I did try multi-monitor gaming a while back but found it was only really usefull for flight sims so went back to one big one

yeah its some jump to make from a 19" crt to a 22" tft, hows all that room feel jason?
i game on a 100" toshiba cell chipped lcd tft, not really i was taking the p**s out of the eliteists.
nobody came to read about jasons new monitor to be told what res desktop you all use.
shiiii i can run my 32" lcd tv as my pc monitor, shiiiiii i can use it as my laptop monitor, dont make me special though, my mate USES a 40" for his monitor. but nobody cares right?

Well aren't you lucky... :P
My new laptop is... I don't know and I don't give a damn, it runs ridiculously fast and that's all I care about, I really couldn't give a damn about res as long as it's 1024x768 or more

To be honest Nero it making me feel a bit agrophobic  :haha: but I've been playing Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood on it and it's like being there for real

Not including being shot of course  :haha:

Just can't believe how much better it feels (I remember going from a 14" up to the 19" and that was the same)

Maybe over the next 6years projectors will drop to a good price

I'm about to build a new tower, I could put my old little 22" with my 23 widescreen but that would just be showing off  :nana:
