I have PJ cuffs at the mo. And I am happy with them. But i really want red cuffs so i would only really get them for that, but they would probs be more comfy too

As for sewing! Time I learnt!

Pinhead I may have the biggest of any Bocker about but the place loction where your cuffs would be isn't that much bigger ( Why the over size knee bars are rubbish !? ).
I think my order would be easier as if alright I'm not bothered with a logo and I'd just like plain black please

I've got the money in my hand. See if you can turn a die hard knee bar bocker into a cuffy

do you use pads inside them DK
i need to know, as these are mainly made for
protection pad users, as ive left
a small gap at the front, to allow more closure
and adjustment for skinnier users...

I've only ever tried one once but I'd say that's how I'd do it.
If you need a referance to the size of my leg, hold a knee pad inside a normal hoop and that the biggest it gets ( 19 1/2 inches ) but I believe where yor cuff would be is 17-18 inches ( could be wrong ? )

Maybe that is a bit bigger the normal so I would be happy to pay extra for them

Do you think this would be aswell?? i'm thinking of a white space, then green filling inside, if you get what i mean... but i couldnt be arsed to draw that in....

it can be done i would think, although i dont
have them colours, easier for you to paint it on
the leather part... but remember
the space available for it is around 40mm x 70mm
as the webbing is 50mm wide, and the logo has to be stitched
around it, sooooo your " k " letter would need to be a similar
size to the others for it to stand out.... with me ?
but as ive explained in earlier posts, in order for it to be in
a central position, you would need to stitch it on....

With so many people asking about adding there own designs patch wouldn't it be an idea to put a velcro patch to the cuff.
People could then make their on patches and add it them simple to the cuff, swopping them when ever the like

I did ask Pinhead that I didn't want any patch on my pair but this idea means if I/you didn't want a patch then just don't use one

it still means you need to stitch velcro underneath
in the centre for it to stick too, so yet again
i cant do it as i said earlier, as everyone will find a
different centre point when tight to others....
so no advantage is made really...

SO, IF PEOPLE WANT IT TO LOOK CENTRAL WHEN FITTED
AND HAVE A LOGO...YOU WILL HAVE TO SEW THE LOGO
AND THE LAST BIT OF VELCRO ON THE STRAP YOURSELF......but its easy to do

ive explained why, for this in earlier posts... please read it so you know, but i only did the logo for me, its just an option for what you can do to them yourself, i dont stock paints, nor did i quote for doing logo's
i just did it to make mine look cooler thats it....

I've got extra knee bars and hope the plastic brackets will be alright.

if they are pro jumps latest plastic brackets
they will be ok i think, but if they are 7's
i would suggest getting the metal ones dude
but with steady use they will be ok
making yours over the weekend DK
and will finish off when my delivery arrives...

in the meantime, can anyone find these for sale in the UK
size is 50mm or 2" x 20mm or 6/8 of an inch internal size
they are split rings, not welded.....
buying from hong kong is killing me on postage...

they are known under a few names...
1 is... wire-formed rectangle rings
the other nickle plated loops...mainly used
for belts, dog collars, bags etc....
i need the split ones, not the welded
they need to be 2" x 3/4 internal size at 4mm thickness...

they destroy anything else out there, how do i know,
well, i bought the latest cuffs have to offer and was
dissapointed in their strength, workmanship, and appearance thats why... so i made these... there is nothing to test, they are made
using the same principle, but with extra comfort, adjustability, strength, workmanship etc etc etc so what can go wrong..? they are better in every way... as i did with my other mod, the quick release straps
and ended up making over 400 pairs...with no complaints...
why do top bockers use them..ie...zeb, kiola, rancher, becky, and most of the welsh bockers.. says it all really....
well, funnily, ive just had another 2 orders while im typing this
so know im out of stock anyways....and as im struggling to get these buckles, i have no idea when or if i can make anymore....

DK... yours are nearly done....just waiting on the velcro to arrive in the morning, then all i have to do, is melt some holes for the bolts... you will need to get 8 washers with a 5.5mm hole and roughly around 20 to 25mm dia, 4 bolts with nylon insert nuts....
or dya want me to go get you some ?
NERO... gotta make pads yet, but then your sorted too....

remember guys, these are made to wear protection pads tucked inside them
that is the reason i leave a small gap at the front as no padding is needed there
plus it also has more closure for skinny dudes
anyhows, heres a few pics of mine fitted now...
note, my padding is leather...cus i can ;-)

i have updated an earlier post on page 1 with instructions
for fitting these cuffs, although its quite obvious anyway, there are a few things to make sure of, or consider.....
it also explains the marking of the last bit of velcro
which the user has to do in order to get them neat and
locking up perfect for their body size and pad size....
