Screwies for ice
« on: January 30, 2010, 10:37:06 PM »
A few people have tried to make hoofs for ice and grass

Think I've come up with the cheapest and easiest DIY version

THE SCREWIE  :Claugh:

Only one drawback be very carefull if you make some they are leathal if you step on someones toe (worst than running spikes)

So I present this solution with a warning DON'T BLAME ME IF YOU GET ARRESTED

They are for use on private ground under safe circumstances (Not in Public)

The screws are 1" (8s or 10s will do)

Have you tried them on hard ground like concrete they look like they would slip ? Wouldn't they still work and be safer with bigger screws and file the pionts off them and maybe more like a bedof nails ? I can't make them anyway my rubber is stuck to the metal but maybe a sox with screws in it would work just the same   :Ceek:

Only made them a day or 2 ago and not enough ice here at the moment

Also lack of time at the moment (nothing to do with fear XS  :Claugh: )

I'll get round to testing them in the summer when it's warmer  :Claugh: but if anyone wants to make a pair and post pics of them using them go for it

How about you Hotdog make some and post some pics of you on them

You have just turned Bocks into a lethal weapon, I could imagine a ninja split kick to the face with these.
