still debating wether or not to come to this,

As much as I would love to come and have wanted to since I first joined this forum I really dont think I have had enough hours on my stilts to be able to walk the distance without tripping and going flat on my face  :Cswoon:

Still not sure what the parents would make of it either though right now they seem very much to have gotten the idea that yes I am going to do what I want and they are not getting much say in the matter lol :Cwink:

So what do you lot think I should do?

To bock or not to bock, that is the question!

Well glad to here the 'rents r getting better.

1st off Id say look at the practicalities...have you looked into train times?

2nd iif you can walk on stilts and are reasonably fit you can do this event.  But gotta say if the weather for the event is like it is today, then it will be quite tuff for 1 or 2.

3rd remember this isnt a 'once in a life time thing'.  There will be CB in London in August and that will be covering much of the same area with a similar crowd.

4th  Get out with other bockers in your area anyways. And deffo try and get a crowd to come down in August.

thanks Bbm I just went to double check the train times I had found only to realise I had put in the wrong date, monday not sunday OOPS! and on a sunday the trains dont run early enough to get me to london on time :(

so thats me out after all  :Cfrown:

Time for plan two: organise a meet closer to home for later in june  :Cwink:

You Could always tell them there is free cake of all sorts + Cookies... if that don't work you could always say there is a open bar :)

lol or failing all that.. say that its in the Bockers Code Of Conduct.. that All Bockers Are to Attend WFL and CB Events No MATTER WHAT.. Anyone caught breaking these rules will have there bocks broken with a Cricket bat lol ( bocks broken is in place of their knee caps - for the easily confused ) LOL

Is anyone going to hang around Paddington/tube stations so I can meet up with them? This is just incase I can't go with Katy in the mornin', lack of funds means going to Basingstoke first may be hard. What time will you be there? If at all?

Please could you put Confirmed by your name...Or if your not on the list but have joined the walk for life team then add yourself and also confirm.

( If all in this list are going then we will have 19 Bockers.)

I will be staying by Heathrow the night before and driving into London in the morning, so if anyone wants picking up on route between Heathrow and Tower Bridge, whether it be from a station, home or whatever, just let me know.

Not a large car, but should have space for a couple if needed.

I have also added the other names mentioned on the thread below onto the list, whilst in the process of adding confirmed by mine.  Hope this is ok Chris
