wrong poweriser
« on: May 16, 2010, 09:08:57 AM »
hi guys

was bocking the skate park yesterday when a young teenager came by on stilts. he showed me his stilts - kid ones - and told me that 2day was his first day - got them as a birthday present.

so i walked with him and after a couple of minutes he was already running

PROBLEM: i think he got the wrong ones - he is already bottoming them out with only running - do u think that projump take them back and change them 2 adult ones??? only used them 1 day and as a birthday present...

cheers

Kids ones you can bottom out easy as hell even in the correct weight ranges, so it's really nothing to worry about. If he's happy with them, leave it be I say. Also, it depends on his height, if he's under about 5'2" he'll struggle to use the adult stilts, even after modifying the footplate to be higher.

You're more likely to bottom out running than jumping as all your weight is on one spring, not shared between the two like when jumping.

Hi there

Unfortunately once they are used and there isn't anything wrong with them we can't take them back if they have been used.

Due to the nature of projumps once they are used we can not resell them as new.

It may seem harsh but thats the reason why we try our best to provide as much information as possible on the website and provide a user forum!

Regards
Naz

I keep on bottoming my M80's out, think I might need to get M90's sometime.

That's probably the max air you can get out of kids ones anyway, I've never seen anyone get more than 1ft.

We did, but the thing that STILL gets me is that they both say 73 on them "/

Doesn't always make them exactly the same. One of the guys in Wales had springs numbered the same and they obviously weren't, one was much softer than the other.

its not a case of being EXACTLY the same one is like worn 60s ans one is like new 100s!!! it wont move at all. 5 people tried them and all agreed! :Cmask:
