Got my bocks yesterday with much anticipation. A bit of an anticlimax as I had no pads, so spent about and hour wandering around Camden looking for skate shops. Returning with a set of wrist pads and knee pads (Glad I got them in the end
) it started to rain.
Finally at about 5ish it stopped, and after a little knee bar adjustment and some last minute checks I was sitting on a wall with the two most bonkers contraptions ever seen attached to my feet, and ready to go.
Then, to my great amazement, after about 5 mins I was up and walking on my own, and I was bouncing around after about 30. Such an epic amount of fun, even after catching a hoof and tumbling to the ground ... in the road. I can't wait to take them up to the park tomorrow and keep going.
