I have three pairs of stilts, a broken couple, a couple that are fully functional in my research, and one pair where the foot bracket got broken the first day i got them so i made my own brackets, so check my picture of the little remake i have done and mods

My 3 pair stilts
http://img411.imageshack.us/f/img0046fx.jpg/on the orange pair i have, i once was out and jumping and suddenly the foot plate loosened, so i went back home and gang drill a hole and screw a large screw with a nut on the inside:
http://img227.imageshack.us/f/img0003large.jpg/ http://img28.imageshack.us/f/img0014large.jpg/This solution works better and is more secure when the bolts are lock-bolts and the gang drill holes holding the screw fasten no matter how hard you jump.
you can notice the little screws on this picture still on my stilts but the long screw make fot plate secure and fasten:
http://img412.imageshack.us/f/img0018large.jpg/ http://img689.imageshack.us/f/img0005large.jpg/also i didnt trust the screw holding the arm so i change screws to this with big lock bult so they never should losen
http://img59.imageshack.us/f/img0006large.jpg/ http://img94.imageshack.us/f/img0030large.jpg/had something wrong with stability on stilts so I struck up a ring next to the bushing, plastic, after that it became much more stability and has worked very well for several days
http://img689.imageshack.us/i/img0030large.jpg/rubber sole ideal for asphalt, very bad on wet or dry lawn, deck squared from scooter tires with extra durable rubber, rubber is restrained by an Allen screw with a ring gasket tightened with the screwdriver into the rubber ... ring gasket is not visible on the outside ... screw is secured by a bolt on the other side as the original.
http://img411.imageshack.us/f/img0022large.jpg/my own fot bracket solution, working perfect for the stilt even if it not as good as the original i need, but beter then nothing.
on one of the stilts, the bracket is broken but hold fasten with duct tape , the other stilt has a sawn block plated with metal and screwed around ... block is secured by two long screws and duct tape on the fiberglass spring, the deck is attached with large screws see picture
http://img205.imageshack.us/f/img0027y.jpg/the fiberglass spring is covered with duct tape in two rounds, then I have sat on an orange tape that makes stilt looking, may not forget that I sprayed the stilts silver purple
http://img819.imageshack.us/f/img0037large.jpg/The point of this forum thread is that I want to show you what I did with my last stilt pairs, get feedback if any of it is good or bad, and again, excuse me for my bad grammar to English, but I am as I said from Sweden so there are always reasons

my two stilts in action

i love to jump with them, i hope to get even better without protection
