:P Spoke to 7league and I wanted different springs, they say I have to get them from Austria :O

P.S. Q I just spoke to Andrea Boeck, and she says there is no waranty on 720 springs because they only like selling them to 'on request of the professional performer.' (or similar thing) But she said you can get them if you email them :) if you are still after the springs

DC not many people know but I went through a spring breaking session  and couldn't figgure out why at first

I tried 7's the old X type spring and found I could bottom it at will and only get 3 ft so they went back

Clive got a pair of S's the new ones and couldn't bend them so let me have a go

Guess what they bottomed but were about as responsive as a wet lettuce (I hated them) Clive sold them on

In the end I went down a little bit on weight (was 117-120 so droped to 114 ish )and changed my technique a bit and I havn't broken a spring since

I hope the 7's cure it for you but if not try going down 5-10 kg and alter your technique it might just help

Just one other thing take a look here

http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=2166

Yes he is that far above a door top (I estimate he is 8ft up to lowest point) yes he does it all the time
And yes he's on PJ's and they aren't that new so maybe it is technique that breaks them as tundraH taught me a lot

I only weight 10-11 stone, can't really loose much weight :P I have been on 7's before, lower weight ones and found them really really good, but they were to low weight, so it might be the solution.

And if you look through the shadow at the cross line in the picture you can tell he is actuall getting about 6foot :P maybe less, just that his legs are bent so it seems more :D

Im with jason, heavier sevens suck ass, so much so i wouldnt dream of trying softer sevens.
but you seem like your mind is well and truly made up so best of luck on them, and i hope sevens austria are as helpful as pro jump.

im not sure what to suggest to ya mate, i break a lot of springs but then i do really stupid things on my stilts, i got to the point with work etc that £70 for a set of new springs became a consumable, things will break and all that.
The only way i can suggest for you to stop breaking them is to use lighter springs as they have more of a tendency to go soft, rather than just snapping.
I hit this wall a year or so into my bocking life, and at times i got really p**sed off with it.

Only other thing i could suggest is hold out for the new stilts to drop, im sure there will be breakages to them springs too, but at least if pro jump are selling them you know you'll get top notch customer service.

Yeah I get what your saying, I think what I am going to do is go for a lower weight in the 7leagues and that way if they break I might just go for 640 skip springs ( I used them all day once and not a problem) instead of 720's

All I can say DC is that his front foot hit the blind at one point and that is 8ft plus above the ground so I stick to his lowest point being very near 8ft

I'll stick a tapemeasure up behind him next time  :Claugh:

Sounds like you had the same experience as me on 7's Nero shame as the lighter ones seem so responsive
