As Spud has said anything to do with the Video or Music industry Macs win hands down (the old processor)
But try buying games or other software for them and you will go broke very quick (actually try buying Qbase for anything and the mac will seem cheap
)
Doom cost me £5 on a pc was still £40 on the mac
It just depends what you want it for
