The Hanworth Banned will be going to London on All Hallows Eve 2011 (31st October)
All who wish to join us are welcome
Pics from previous years are here so you can get an idea of what happens
http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?action=gallery;cat=33 I have started this thread early to try and avoid any confusion like this year
Times will be flexible and I will be fashionably late as usual
(might even be early next year
)
I should be at Covent Garden around 5ish but would suggest anyone that wants to start earlier goes to The Eye as this is a good meeting spot
We will be moving on from Covent garden when we get bored/chucked out and going on to either Leicester Sq or Trafalgar Sq depending of the time and popular opinion
Please this year all bring a phone and swap numbers with as many others as you can so if you get lost you can find the main group again
Any new folks that don't know many people I will have a number to post up here a week or so before so you can contact me if needed
This is not an organised meet just a mass gathering of mates but there are a few simple requests I have of all who attend
1-- Don't argue with/upset the Police/Security guards (Remember we bock here regularly and have to deal with the fallout)
2--Those who wish to flip/big trick (basicaly anything dangerous to the crowd) must pick a Safety officer (sounds important don't it
) from their numbers who will decide if it is safe in each area we visit and organise spotters/blockers etc from among those who wish to assist them
3--The Safety Officers word is Law if he/she says NO we don't do it (this one isn't really a request and will be enforced by the three fattest/heaviest bockers falling on the offenders
)
4--Please wear some form of fancy dress (it can be simple you don't have to compete but it is fun if we all try hard)
5--Have Fun (this one is an Order
)
I may add a few more as time goes on if we feel we need to
A few people have suggested that we hold the meet on a close Saturday or Sunday and I will explain why I don't think this is not a good idea
I have been working in london many years (including many evenings/nights) and have been in the westend over the week that holds Halloween and the night of the 31st is the only time that the "party is on" so to speak
The weekends either side see very little action and a few people might have partys on the nearby days but if you want crowds and costumes the 31st is the only night
We can hold normal meets any day but this one has a set date for a reason I mean you wouldn't have christmas on the nearest sunday would you
Sorry I have had to put some rules in place but several people have said that we need a bit of organisation before an accident causes a Bocking Ban in London's best spots
