update on this.. i think i may have finally got my right heel to sit in the middle of my foot, by cutting a few inches of the foam off the knee bar and padding it all on the left side. i guess my right leg simply isn't straight, because no matter how i strapped it in, the heel was always on the inside of my foot, and it didn't feel good for running, like my leg was going to buckle out (and i kept faceplanting when i'd run).
not sure if i said above.. i overspecced my springs, i weigh 180lbs and got 90s which are rated ~199 and up. had them for about a month and a half now, probably put in 20-30 hours (not vigorous) and only beginning to get springy jumps that propel me into the air. taking the slow and sure path (i had to take time off because one knee was freaking out, feels better now, just wore them for ~2 1/2 hours w no stress.)
def. found at first bunny hops were harder because the springs were so stiff that unless both feet landed at exactly the right time, it wasn't good. now i don't have to get it quite so right. i'd recommend getting the "right" spring weight if you can afford a 2nd pair of springs in the next 6 months, year. i'm not sure i'll be able to so i have to be satisfied w wearing them in.
