Just seen the weather forecast and it looks not to bad west of london

We might have to bock between showers but if it is like today it won't be to bad

The beauty of bocking in this weather is the stilts keep you feet out of the flooding

What a day

Thanks for staging the meet Davido had a fab time

Only 4 of us plus our Ace Photographer (Pic of me to follow if Clive dosen't delete it

Got so hot and sunny we were looking for shade and then the heavens opened and honestly I stood out in the rain to cool off

Thought I'd use my first post on my shiny new forum account to say a huge thanks for making a newbie welcome at his first meet

The tips really helped too, I'm feeling much more confident on my stilts now.

I think tomorrow I will experience first hand what rigor mortis feels like but it'll be worth it, I had a great day and I look forward to next time I can tag along

Your always welcome to our sunday meets if you can get the time off and like I said if you get a saturday free tell us and we'll try and move the meet to the saturday

Need guys like you at the meets mate you were the only one to see my first go over the bench

and that Clive bloke would have denied I did it if he got half a chance

Rob I didn't see that fall but I definitely heard it! I feel your pain with the wrists, only natural to stick your hands out when you're falling over!

Jason and Clive I think spent more time handing out advice an letting passers by have a go on the stilts then they actually spent bocking themselves! Two really good ambassadors for the sport!

We deffo want to see that fall I mean we heard Rob hitting the ground and it was loud

hope the wrist feels better mate

Muncher we are going to either do a home meet or a Staines meet next sunday
Probably know for sure which by wednesday so watch this space (or probably a new post)

There are benches in staines so I may get brave again

Thanks David we both love seeing peoples face when they manage to walk on Bocks for the first time and it's great when someone you have started in them gets some and starts coming to meets makes you feel like you have given something really good and fun to them and made another mate to have a good laugh with
