I Thought and do use it for a wrap round the knees & the padded knee bar.
i found it held my knee's nice and tight to the knee bar. If anyone knows any different then i would like to know as well.

In the little book that comes with them there is a bit somewhere that talks about wrapping somthing round the knees.  I think it's at the tips bit, but I cant find my little book so im not exactly sure.
But i know that it helps me when put them on.

Ok thanks i guessed that was what it was for but assumed it would be more like bandage material than mild webbing for wrapping round your knees.

I haven't used it might try it when the rain goes away see if it makes much of a difference.

Thanks for the reply.

 ???

I didn't get a roll, or even a baguette, of fabric in my kit! But it's definately for making the kneebar fit more snuggly. I used an old tie on each leg instead (there's a tying on guide in the booklet).

But now i'm feeling left out of the Pro-Jump Roll Of Mystery Fabric club!

lol an old tie on each leg genius :p.

Where did you guys attach it? onto the knee bar or your knee?

Cheers for the replies

There should be a series of pics on page 4 of the booklet at the bottom of the page.

But basically what you should do is pass the strap behind your knee under the kneebar (so the halfway point sits on the back of your knee) then bring the two ends round to the front and cross them over the knee bar at the front, then round the back of your knees again above the kneebar and back round to the front (depending on the length of strap and tie it on.

Bish bash bosh loads more support and stability  ;D

o right thanks spotted the pictures but they're tiny and not much help, i might try it sometime and see if it makes a signifcant amount of different cos atm it takes me long enough to get them on and pad up without having to lash my legs to them aswell lol.

Thanks for the reply and solving my query :)

I've PMed you this, but for anyone else who's wondering.

Get in touch with your local tree surgeon, hopefully they'll put you in the right direction.
