Helmet
« on: August 07, 2007, 02:58:00 PM »
I have ordered a pair of red junior F60's yesterday about half 3 ish.  I read somewhere that when it is delivered there is a helmet included in the box. Is this true? And does any1 know if my F60's will arrive today  ??? (otherwise I've wasted my whole day waiting for them)  :(

Wrist guards Are very usefull and elbow will also take the blow of a fall better than your hand.
If you find the knee pad hurts try a different one !
On my frist bad fall I land right on the knee even witha pad it bashed my knee cap ! :o

r u wearing shorts or long trousers? If shorts  try wearing a pair of jeans. If that works and you prefer to wear shorts ( i do). Then get some sort of 'liner' most popular are the athletic knee support 'tubes'.

I think I've only ever seen one person with a full face helmet. I personally don't think its needed as usually until you are really pushing yourself you shouldn't fall. check out the safety gear topic in the FAQ for more advise.

The best ones for you depend on your leg size. If there's a lot of gap between your leg and the knee par, the Pit Dirt knee /shin are ideal as it helps fill the gap. If you dont have much space then the tube ones will be better..

he fits the velcro of the knee pads round the round on the Pro-Jumps rather than to his leg. Same way as kiola and few others wear them!
