this is goin to be a brief post... i only have 1 hand :(
Got my stilts yesterday evening and had about 2 hours play in the garden (not very big) it was mainly walkin and hoppin around.
About half hour ago went out to the shops with them on to try running.
got there great (knacered) on the way back however....
I left the shop and headed down the road on them, aout 300 yards down the road i slipped on a stone :(
i was launched about 10 feet a girl said.
i scratched upp all of my left palm, hurt and scratched my left knee scratched my right knee (dont hurt though)
gashed my hip, and realy f**ked my right hand, i mean it was p**sin with blood.
I got home and started to clean myself up when i noticed one of my cuts had something in...
i pulled ack the little bit of skin to see a stone in there (the kind they stone the roads with and they tar mac is)
im about to go hospital will keep you updated :P:P:P

I'm going to assume you wearn't wearing any pads, judging by the fact that you had a stone lodged in your hand and hurt your knee.
I'm not going to offer much sypmathy because to be honest we told you so, and anybody who doesn't wear at least wrists and knees in my opinion is asking for an injury.
So bad luck about the fall and i hope it heals soon but next time wear your pads and i'l feel more sorry for you :P

you may find that athouls comment was slightly
harsh straight after your injury...but...
we hear and see this all the time..and theres only so many times you can say awwww kiss kiss n all that...as this point still does'nt come across to some people....the site warns of this
to anyone who bocks..wear pads at all times....all sprog will say is, where's your fukin pads.. pads, pads...lol....
i hope you heal soon, and get back to bocking asap,
but you now have something to remind you ,to go and get
some pads on....then it will be your turn to nag at someone else when they do the same....post your injury pics, as this helps to try and get the point across more to newbies.. we've all done it and learnt the hard way.....be safe...be sensible...ok not so sensible...

thats funny i was bout to pmsl about you obviously not hving pads too.
as pin says, we aint cruel people, but after the first 50 times of going "ooooooooooooooooooooh you ok though b, you know you wouldnt be hurting now if you had pads on"
we all loose sympathy, and cuts and grazes are kiddie things, jason broke his wrist, just walking and not even trying to show off to some girl :P

Jason doesn't need to show off to girls, he has the legs!
(Oh and I happened upon someone you work with and his daughter on the train the other day Jason! He asked me about CB then I asked if we were on the news or something, then he said nar he works with someone called Jason from the Theatre Royal. To which I replied. 'Oh we ALL know Jason, he's a LEGEND!')
