Description: Thanks to Gemma for taking the pix, and 1st time with my camera. Things are really starting to move with this ( pun kinda intended). We are really starting to forget we are on stilts and just going for the ball and hoop. Some may remember a video by 'gillybert' where we got some beginners ( erm his family) to play catch with a ball to forget they were on stilts. well this is just taking it a bit further. We played 3 on 3 and I think Rob and TimTom would admit they are pretty much beginners, but ( and especially Rob) they were at the front of the attacks. Whilst babyben ( the JJs can now bost, ben, lil ben and baby ben), on his borrowed bros (biohazard) cast of skyrunners for only about the 2nd time, started the game holding on to the wall! Whilst by the end, was running and passing if not quite dribbling ( but next time!) The JJ's are planning a charity game for Children in Need in November. We have a venue in portsmouth. We have 1 team formed and are working on the 2nd. If any1 would like to join in just shout out. This is either as an individual player, as a full team, a bystander or just to give us some money. Im gonna put a newsletter out to 'lapsed' and tall JJ's  ive even found a whistle! Im gonna split the JJ thread. 1 just for the event and a second for discussing thePB, the rules and differences to basket ball. So things clearer and easier to access |
