I am sure everyone on this forum will agree with me when i say
Pads are the most important things u could buy
if you would like a link to one website that has pads here it is
http://www.ridethehill.com/acatalog/Tri_Paks.html or alternatively go on google or ebay and search for pads.
My pads were anvil pro tri pak
and they are well worth the £25

I'm a bit stupid not to wear pads, but luckily I won a set in the December photo comp ;D, not that I've had any bails that really hurt me enough to decide to wear pads. I messed up my shoulder once, but it sorta felt ok after about a week. I tend to injure everything that pads can't protect lol! Ironic eh? So I don't bother with pads at the moment. However, I strongly recommend them, and I'm a bit of an idiot not wearing them. I have to say, I'm somewhat worried about the fragileness of my wrists!!!! All I wear is my minimoto gloves, to stop grazing on my hands and wrists.
I will wear them soon though! When my new ones arrive ;D

wrsit-guards are a must. Plus they are the least intrusive pads you can wear (like they dont stick out too much or restrict your movement in anyway).
-
Yeah wrist guards seem like the ones you really should be wearing on PJs, your wrists are ever so fragile when landed on from 8 feet up...! I'll buy some very soon, not that I can PJ much in this weather >:(!!
-
frumpet, you will be suprised how much more you can do if you wer the right knee pads, you sound like you know wat your5 doin mate, but wen you pad your knee out proper ur in 4 q shock, happy days.
-
Cool yeah, I won some knee pads in the pic comp, so I'm lookin forward to giving them a try!
Cheers man,
Dom

but on THE Projump website those pads are £25 still arnt they?
-
Hi
On www.Pro-Jump.co.uk the price of £24.99 includes a set of elbow pads too. I'll see if I can convince 'the powers that be' to lower the price of the set for you guys.
In the meantime if you would like to purchase the knee pads you can do so from the Ghostbikes.com website through the link above.

i wasnt wearing my wrist guards one day an fell and my whole lower arm went knumb and i couldnt move my fingers...was a weird pain but after a good night sleep it was fine....oh yer an know i never go on them without wrist guards
-
Yeah wrist guards seem like the ones you really should be wearing on PJs,
AND KNEE PADS! Wrist guards and knee pads MINIMUM!
-
im a free runer, ive been doing it for jsut voer 2 years makes my bones so much stronger but im still gonna use the wrist gaurds i land jumps of a maximum of 2 storys atm within free running and i havent broken a thing yet lol so 6 - 7 feet will be no biggie XD but the broken wrist in injurys got mne wanting the wrist gaurds lol ! ;D

Its often that injures happen at unexpected moments. Simple trips mis judged jumps when 1 isnt prepaired to land/fall right. If doing flips jumps 1 is prepaired for failure and more likely to land safly --- if you follow.
