they'll go fine, i spent10 days using PJ's without kneepads... and im silly, as soon is i put some kneepads on with my PJ's it feels soo much confyer. :)

I would say get the pit dirt ones, I have ride the hill knee pads but will soon get the pit dirt ones as the offer shin protection. I was jumping large steps in Cardiff Bay this weekend, they would have come in very handy as I bashed my shin very hard.
