So I bet most of you completly missed the fact I vanished for around a month  :Ctwitcy:

And for the few that might have noticed you now know I am back  :Claugh:

But I know that all of you had no idea where I went so I'll tell you... SOUTH AFRICA!!!

yep I ran off to help out at a conservation and rehabilitation centre for injured and orphan wildlife

just thought I would let you know I had fun, survived, took lots of rubbish pictures AND...

can now get some stilts of my own in a few weeks!!!  :Becky:

Sounds like a really rewarding thing to do so well done

Feel free to stick more pics up and tell us what it was like out there as I for one will be interested (would love to have done that sort of thing in my youth but mortgage and life got in the way  :Ccry:)

thankfully out there for them it is winter so it was bareable and the mozzies did not bite alot though I have still come home with over ten bites  :Cmad:

that so called cute baby rhino that you like has a vicious streak when heaven forbid you should get between him and the person making the milk!  :Cswoon:

Ill tell you one thing though I learnt the true meaning of 'a once in a lifetime experience' ....
if it happened a second time you would die of a heart attack!
such was being out on foot walking the lion cubs and going around a corner to come face to face with a wild rhino and baby barely five meters away!  :Cchatterbox: OMG does not cover it running does  :Cwink:

but like I said I survived with lots more stories to tell but sleep now talk later  :CSLEEP:

That lion almost looks photoshopped, the edges of the fur look weird.. xD
