I used to like mine a little lower (it used to fit the pitdirt kneepads better) but its all down to personal taste try and if it is uncomfortable move it

It all a matter of choice ? Once you get your knee pads on see how it feels, it should be no higher the were is sound you have it ???

For the mass of posts you've made, you have done surprisingly very little reading. Now my advice to you is to stop posting for the time it takes you to read through previous posts on the subject. I find it very hard to believe that you thought that they were not necessary.......

How many times do we tell bocking noobs this?
THE KNEEBAR IS NOT FOR PROTECTION.
It is merely there for comfort, rather than having metal rubbing on your leg. If you fall it provides no cover for your kneecap and it will still slam into the ground.

Like ET Said, Dave, Calm your posting and get reading and researching. Otherwise we'll just all laugh when you come on here going "I have no kneepads and I smashed my knee in!". Well ET, BmthBloke and Me will anyway, we're a real sympathetic bunch ;D

Ok guys, quit telling him off I think he understands what you guys are trying to say regarding post counts...

Remember everybody was once a "noob" and people will learn in time - sometimes people like of to experience a few falls before they realise they should have listened to the advise given - at this point you can all say "we told you so!"

…and remember there's always nicer ways of saying things to fellow members  ;)

I wasn't making the point of him posting too much there, to make him stop posting. I was merely asking him to spend more time researching and reading. As he would get far more out of it.

Crash mats are great until you miss them have a look at the pics of my wrist I was 10" away from a bit of really soft grass but when your flying upside down through the air you can't aim that well so I found the tarmac

http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?action=gallery;cat=8

And I was walking at the time I shudder to think the pain and damage landing on the thin knee bar from a height would cause

Hard to describe but I'll try put your hand on your kneecap (the loose bit well mine is anyway  ;D)

Now slide your hand down there is a gap then another k**bbley bit keep going down until you find your shin bone (a ridge that runs all the way down to your ankle

I used to put my knee bar right at the top of my shin under the lower k**bble that way when you land from a jump the kneebar doesn't hit your kneecap which I found painfull

All this is from memory as I have been using Cuffies for ages now so if I'm wrong sorry  ;D
