Does anybody know where to buy A good pair of wrist protectors.
Some that will offer good protection at a reasonable price.
Not that i've needed them YET but lets face it when your going down, the hands come out to stop the fall.
The Last thing i need is a few weeks off work for playing on jumping stilts :P

Yeah was glad i was wearing my wrist protectors, trying to race my dad while i was on the powerisers on concrete was a bad idea at this stage :P flat on my face but luckily the wrist guards did their job and all was good.
Unfortunately can't help you with where to get some reasonably priced as mine were a birthday present with my powerisers (else my mum would have had kittens :P)
Hope you find some soon before you need them.

I got a padset for my birthday along with the powerisers and the padset is mcgill if that helps at all?

Question? do the pads you have protect the palms. from your picture they look like they pretty good.

Yes they do they've got like a plastic slider sort of thing which sits on your palm, so in the invent of a bail forwards that hits the floor and gets scratched rather than your lovely baby soft hands :P
The whole pad set is well made and comfortable, but as with all pads i've tried you sweat like i don't know what.

Thanks, ive been looking around and have found a couple of pairs in different places with different price's.
:o Think i will get some ordered tonite. Just a bit gutted i cant get out on my stilts tonite coz of the rain. and it's not so much fun walking round the house in them. :-\

Yeah rain stinks with these doesnt it lol luckily the rain eased off here and the paths dried out so i went out for a play :).
Don't suppose u have Msn do you? as its just faster to ask questions and get answers on there rather than this which seems like sending letters and waiting for a reply lol.

Now There's a nice set of wrist protectors shame the cheeky little blitters sell the left and right hand seperately.

I'd personally recommend the Anvil Tripak from Ridethehill (http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php), its £25 and they really are good. A few of our other bouncers have ordered them too. I'd go for a medium if you're of a slim build. Knees are a bit big on the velcro / elastic but nothing a bit of stick-on velco cant fix. That reminds me....

luke im 12 and im not fat so what size pads should i get form ride the hill if i get the anvill tripak?

Try the small I guess? Cant be much more helpful than that. There is a phone number on the site so if you call them with your stats like I did they'll put you right. I was going to do a large before I spoke to them so just as well I did!

I'll vouch personally that the Anvil Tri-Pack are really good, I use them every time and they're well tough!

ive recieved my wrist, knee and elbow protetors from ride the hill
and personally i think that they are well worth the money
£25 well spent :D

I bought a set of wrist, elbow, knee protectors from Leisure Lakes in Bury, they were marked up at £25 but then at the counter I was charged £18.99 ... Bargin!

hey lukey what size did you get in the end medium? how big are you? cos im gunna get some and im 6'2" but ive got like a 25cm handspan and BIG legs (im not fat just well built) so should i get the large or are they really big?

dear all
ive been bouncing for a while now quite confdent walking running etc
for the first time i fell over i was running full pelt and a wet leaf landed in my path there was nothing i could do except from planting my body in the tarmac
ive broken the hard bit in the wrist guard and cracked an elbow pad
so just goes to prove its all worth it sitting there strapping yourself into all those pads

This just shows how the smallest of things can literally throw you.
If the plastic on the wrist guards is bust then you've almost certainly saved yourself from a broken arm/wrist
(it also means you need new pads)
I guess you suffered usual scuffs and bruises?

im looking into new pads
i always put all my pads on, i work for myself so i cant aford to break any thing
apart from the pads :)

I got a pair of NO FEAR wrist and knee pads from SPORTS WORLD for £5 :)
The knee pads are a little small ( all size use the same plastic pads ) but the wrist protectors look OK ( never needed then yet ) !

I think the Pit Dirt Knee pads are the best ones for use with bocks
You can attach the velcro all the way round and its a great fit
