Hi everybody
I am a fairly experienced bocker (Bout a year now) and was wandering what is the best way to go into a flip.
I am sure I have asked about flipping before but cant find the threads.
Please can anyone give advise on this.

Im not a flipper myself but from what i've seen most people run up for barani's but tend to two footed jump for normal flips as you need the speed for the rotation in a barani but the height for normal flips.
Don't count on what i've said though, wait for a second opinion.

I've said running because it gives you more momentum.
When I was learning, I could land my flips more often from running into them than bouncing into them. Could be just me and my weirdness though.

ok so i cant run into flips anyways, i foudn i try to hard and lose all my height. :Cno:
so a jump inot it is the order of the day, i have gym sessions 3 times in 3 weeks now so ill get you some video.

Cheers for this.
I may try at the next gym meet. (wish me luck :Claugh: )

i find bouncing into fronts easier as i find it easier to control my landing but easier to run into Baranis as you need way more momentum.
hope that helps a little!

im with paul bouncing for fronts is preferred but for learning just to get over the entail fear go for running is it will give you more drive like locky said to make the rotation
