Title: spacers - attatched or nay??
Post by: Hilly-of-the-Marshes on September 02, 2008, 09:10:33 AM
i shouldnt really have to make a whole topic just for one silly little question, but oh well, i was just wondering, on 7 leagues the spacers are glued, or attatched somehow on to the spring, now, given my past experiance with spacers, i was hoping skip springs would be the same, as im hoping to use some 640s to make my new bocks as many will know is my A level D&T project, it would be better if they're attatched, i've tried gluing them on with my old m90s but it made no difference, whereas i've never seen this problem on the 7s, so do skips have the spacers attatched to the spring?

Powerskip springs have the spacer stuck to it and then the heavy duty spring protection also goes round the top of it.  Even without the protection over it, I have needed to use a screw driver to separate the spring from the spacer, with some force I might add.  I hope this helps.

Yea.. the Spacer has No chance in just 'falling' out of a powerskip spring.
