hi my last meet i think was ok and fun so i thought i would make a new one in bury because we have been nearly everywhere else but here so how about it we will probably be able to come back to mine and play my nintendo wii or go to pizza hut

Burys a while away for me, but possible i guess, when were you thinking? also a suggestion as we seem to have found a few new bokers near norwich we could do there, it ain't been done, n apaz theres some good spots near the castle? ah well its a possibility :)

Norwich isnt too bad. By the castle there are loads of steps obsticals to jump. And like outdoor stage thing anyway people use the place for skateboarding and freerunning so i think it would be pretty suitable. And for starbucks fans- there are about 4 or 5 of them!

EA is a big place if stevenage is in it. I would have to pass on that one as it would take mea few hours to get to :( but you should have one there at some point. EA is a big place so it is fair especially since you dont have a car.

norwich is an hour away from bury still in the questioning with my dad but i think trxster has a point about it smelling and it has chavs that hate me and want my stilts so i dont think we should have one there

i have a week off begining sunday the 17the of feb if u organise it for the saturday which is 23rd of feb i can be their if not the chances are not good tbh.

im free ANY saturdays dont need any notice its ok dont work on them anymore :P but im voting Norwich only because i have seen pics of the castle gardens they look awesome so much variety there.

hey yea soz guys im in cardiff at the min tioll monday at ealyiest lol, i think we should do the 2nd of feb so i can make sure i have it off work will bring all t's to the meet and i want the meet in norwich it looks so good at the castle, so either norwich or lincs would b best there aint that much around bury been there a few times n i dnt think ther much about for us like jumpin wise, and i love jumpin on and over things.
so my vote goes for 2nd of feb or later i dnt think ill be able to get anythink off earlyier then that so i may not b able to make a sooner meet neway im gettin moaned at for not given gf attention tlk to u all soon

Think i can do most dates, but seeing as how some people can't, mabs 2 meets is a good idea? Mabs Charlie B (i think was him) could organise something in lincs, as hes a sports person there, and prob has better links with venues etc.? On the Norwich front a letter might also be a good idea :)

I think rather than writing in officially you need to check the area out first, see if someone is there looking after it and if there is just have an informal chat with them and see how they feel about you guys bocking there.
If its open to the general public to walk in etc I don't know why you would need to ask for special permission. As at times when you go through the nice & proper ways of doing things they put all the barriers in your way.
Just my two pence worth but up to you guys.

the areas was the moat around the castle. great place for skateboarders and parkour. I dont really know the reasons why. It is on thier forum somewhere. Was reading it yesterday.

If it isn't officially stated there and its a public path or area I see no reason why you would need to ask!
Don't get me wrong I admire you kids for wanting to get official permission and an OK to use the area but looking back there has been projects where we have gone through this route before and out of courtesy went for permission and in return we got red tape.
Sometimes especially if theres not that many of you and you are only there for a few hours I dont think you need to actually ask esp as it seems to be public land & not private property. If it is private property then its a different situation altogether

I think, I could be wrong, that the parkour guys were banned incase they hit somebody and got done for assult. so aslong as we are people aware then to probs as far as I can see. and if we are asked to move there are other places such as the forum (a little busy) and by macdonalds, chapelfield gardens ect. We will be fine..

Nope, I have a forklift license, and ended up being hit by a lorry while in my forklift, good thing for seat belts and roll bars, lucky my back end got clipped, and not full on my side, this should be the last accident for a while, and I am not hoping, I am saying so!! lol

I can make the 23rd of Feb, Fingers crossed for Norwich! Ref Maccy D's, the one near the Forum is a no-go, everytime I try to sneak in im told to get off, but there are plenty of others, so is it a definate for the 23rd? I can go and scope the castle area for wardens and so forth, to see who is around there, say 1030 at the train stn? 1100?? 1130??

Was there most fo the day on my bocks by the castle and no wardens at all. was great fun...that aside 11am would be best for me as there are no trains that get in near the ??.30 mark.
I should be able to make it. just its the same day my mates come home from the army but I have a feeling they will be creamn crackered anyway :biggrin:

Yes just hope that it is dry coz today where i went it was really slippy. there are other (less mossy) places around the castle which i think would be more suitable. Made my tire socks today. Random this...
Went to halfords to by a tire (managed to get given one with the tred I wanted for free) and had allready got wire clippers and jubilee clips. so me and my mate went outside and tried to make them. Was really hard. We managed to cut the tire once but needed another 2. A guy who was gettin his lights fixed offered to help. so out he got a battery jigsaw..handy that lol then he gave us something to do the jubilee clips up with too. Great guy. Afer speakin to him for a bit he showed us his prosthetic leg. the reason it is random is the guy that made him for it helped design the stilts (well the ones used in the underworld films actually). But I bet ours are a hell of a lot cheaper though. which i think is a bit unfair...

Hmmm i think i know, but wheres the bus station in relation to the train station in Norwich?

As you get off of the bus, stand facinf the main building, and turn right, walk out of the terminus and turn left, walk down the road a little way and then when you get onto the main high street turn right, walk down this until you get to where the road turns a corner and goes up the hill, where it does this walk down the bus only road (the castle will be up the hill on your right) walk down/around this road (its curved) keeping the castle on your right, you will come to a big cross roads, walk over this heading down the hill, keep walking down this road untill you go over the bridge, from there you will see the train station just over the road (big building with a car park out the front with taxi's in it.
Or you could catch the number 25 bus from the main bus station which goes to the rail station, its up to you.

Its slippy I dont like it. hehe but being a kid. Puddles are great. I loved going to wroxham barns. We used to feed goats and lambs and jump in puddles. I remeber one time when the goat at the paper bag hehe. Funny as.

That is just totally random. I started calling everybody spud and they called me that too. Used to say spudolicious a lot too and was gona start a buissness much like send a poo or what ever but with spuds in the boxes insted. However I didnt have £1000 to buy the boxes. One day I will do it :haha:
Anyhoo now I usually say spud it up. Most of my films end with that unless it for posh things where is says S.I.U and if I feels stupid A giant spud!

u dont need the springs broken in u just need more leg muscle it took me ages to learn but i can do it now and i can do it on my brand new poweriser 08s and they havnt been broken in yet

trixster taught me and its so helpful when u no how and when u are trying new tricks and fall carma and tok have seen me fall hard on the floor when i was showing off and the people where more impressed with me getting up then the trick i nearly landed

On the day i will be at train station from about ten oclock providing i find it ok and can park there reasonably priced or for free lol anywere around there that i can park for free, or that is cheap.
Im willing to help people to learn to get up its somethink i picked up i wasnt shown the general idea is easy of how to get up but some people do weird things when there doing it carl was awfull lol and i got him standing up i think its partly encouragement from others that helps which is what our meets are about, im sure me hex carl and anyone else who can stand up will get every1 who cant to do it
with the age thing im only 19, i say only i feel old compared to some of the guys in the group lol, charlie b and gixer age isnt an issue trust me im not sure how old dark knight is but jason is 47 and he is brilliant to have at a meet, it shows that its not just for young kids and it is for all ages, if your willing i will get you both split kicking if you dont allready do it, neither of you are old anyway, come along will be good to see you there,

Thier bus gets in at about 10.50. Well thats what nutta said..he said that none of them knew thier way and so I offered to get them from there... I asked nutta to go on the inside but of the station so I could find them and not to go by the exit (as there is 2)

On the opposite side of the road to trainstation is a huge multistory carpark. Not sure about exact prices but a few hours isnt gonna cost much

There is the multi story, also parking in the Castle mall, In the Chappelfield shopping centre (expensive) there is a parking bit behind the station, as you drive out of the station car park, at the lights take a right, go round the road (its a corner) and at the cross roads (traffic lights) turn right, go up that road beside the train station, and I think its the 1st road on your right, just passed the station, you can drive around the corner, and park on the roadside, no fee, no penalty (dads used it before for a football match)those of you driving, if you come into the train station, I will jump in with you and take you there, or you can take my directions, and try your luck!

i did read the list confussed me lol, ill look at a map of norwich while readin it when im more awake will make more sense then lol and also be able to figure out how to get to the station from the car etc, and is the one at the towers free aswell or cheap

The one near the towers may be expensive, the best advice that I can give would be to park and ride! its cheap and drops you off in the middle of the city! :Straddle5:

Yup it has a one way system but its not that hard. Mind you... i cycle so can go lots of ways cars cant. The city is very hard for cars now but is made easy for bikes and busses
