Ive been asked for some Powerbocking Scouts for the Lord Mayors parade in London on 8th November. Its a Saturday and the event will be for most of the day, probably meeting about 10am! It should be covered on BBC TV.
Please let me know if you are interested!

Its been organised through Scouting for powerbocking Scouts to turn up, so yeah only Scouting people (Scouts/Explorers/Network/Leaders/Fellowship).

you can only join us if you are a member of scouting by then - either leader, network or fellowship

Youll be lucky to find a Scout that has any idea about what your going on about Pin! We do far more interesting things now - climbing, kayaking, camping, ... powerbocking! :) and you know it :P

Lozzi, I will be getting the train into the city, not driving, so save up for a train ticket and I MIGHT bring you with me.

If you book train tickets in advance you can get them very cheap.
I looked a couple days ago and found a return ticket to waterloo for only £13 (this is including my student railcard discount)

its gonna cost me 11.50 and thats only from brentwood but that's a travel card so covers the underground etc

a daily travle card it only £7 y are you going from brentwood not romford

The modern procession is over three miles long – 1.3 miles longer than the route it follows – and starts at 11am after an RAF flypast. It travels from Mansion House to the Royal Courts of Justice, where the Lord Mayor takes an oath of allegiance to the sovereign before the Lord Chief Justice and the judges of the Queen’s Bench Division. There are 27 of us going to London this Saturday to do the Lord Mayors Parade. There is TV coverage of the parade from 10.45am until 12.15pm on BBC1 - no idea if we will be on it or not, but I know we are nearer the end of the parade than the start!
If anyone is able to record it and youtube it for us that would be great!

This is still not the real video but using my Camera to film laptops video. The full video file is 3.4Gb's almost a full DVD :o

Why not just upload the bocking bit? Edit in movie maker. Export as something like a .wmv or mov. they have reasonable compression.

There were loads of us there, and everyone did really well as it was a long way and it was tipping it down all day!

Hey all! what a fantastic day despite the rain!!! Even though I broke a bock i was still glad to be there, even as a bocker groupie! lol! Now as soon as I can get the spare parts, i need to work on getting my tricks and height sorted! How on earth some of you were getting that high is unbelievable!!
