Depends what brand you have.

It applies to all that are made in the chinese factory to the same spec but are simply branded differently.

I've just got a new set ready for London I check here and I have GEN 1's the kinky hoofs which I ordered.
When you order all it says in GEN 1 or GEN 2 but when they came just now the order now says STREIGHT !?
If I ordered GEN 1 and the order says streight you can workout I've been sent the wrong ones ??
GEN 1's are the kinky ones ! Right ?
I've not got boots one the old set and I needed a new set now looks like I'm going to have to patch up  the old set ( ones a bit doggy )  :'(

Yes, G1's are the one with the bend in. Looks like you need G2's. Phone projump and get it fixed, I'm sure they'll be happy to help

Ah right. I got a bit confused by your old post.
I thought you meant the G1 hoofs wouldnt fit. Yes, if they have sent G2 and they don't fit, ask for replacement G1's. I'm sure they will send out the correct ones! :)

It's a shame that there's no pictures on the order page !?
Gen 1 , Gen 2 is meaningless if you only have one type ??
Gen 1 ( indent ) , Gen 2 ( straight ) would help !!

Hey DK

That’s my fault  :-[  I’m responsible for the websites…

A picture showing the difference was on the order page but after a recent update we lost all the descriptions. I've had problems modifying the pages again but hopefully within the next few days this should be sorted.

Please accept my apologies

I know what they look like, what they are built from, how long they've been in development, features, etc. but I cannot say anything on the behaviour of the stilts or how long they last as nobody has tried a pair for long enough yet.

You can't yet. Higher weight limit springs aren't sorted out yet, the carbon fibre is a bit dogey, so ProJump are waiting for this to be fixed before selling them :)

They are better because they are lighter and have calf cuffs. Thats all I can say is better about them at this moment in time.
Same for is it worth the extra price... Nobody has tried them for a prolonged period of time (i.e. longer than a month) so I cannot say at all if they are worth the extra money.

No.
I do not like the new design (lack of support behind the hooves, weird calf-cuffs, no proper bindings), and as there has been no long-term usage or information on them, it would be foolish to buy them without knowing how long they last or how good they are compared to other brands.

They are the new style ones that are compatible with anyone who had the 1st gen style foot.

** I'm in the process of doing a proper post on the feet and different types etc (well its on my list of things to do!) The 1st gen / 2nd gen theory isn't as black and white as people make out but to make it easier we have just used it to describe the two different types of fittings available. **

This type a lot better type with the metal on the hoof  :)
I'm working on small rubber/spiked ( out road/wet ) / I think it's a type of plastic ? replacement pads which will use a lot less rubber than the sock people make now  :o  ;D
