:o HEY ive looked at the guys video where he gets up and picks up hats etc etc but my legs are to small to swing round infront of me with powerisers on any other way to stand?

Exactly how small are you legs? maybe you should post a vid of you trying to get up so that people can offer some advice.......

that would be balthazar ariths vids i think. Ive seen some really quite small ladys get up like that. But Id agree if 1 is short it is more difficult.
There is another 'extreme' method. Ive only seen vids of failed attempts --but ive seen it done. Lay on your back, pull knees back to chest. Thenm violently throw legs forward and flick torso upwards. Amaxing to watch.

i just had an idea why you may not be able to stand up try adjusting your knee bars i couldnt do it before, then i moved them cause i couldnt bend my knees proply so i lowered them abit and hey presto i could get up, ive now learnt how to get down aswell. or try it in reverse learn to get down as its easyier

I fall hard the other day in the road and I've never been able to get off the floor ( never fallen before ) I crawled over to a two foot brick wall fence and used that to get back up and then sat of it ! I had been winded by the wind :D

If you haven't fallen before you are not really pushing yourself, and learning to get up unaided is the most important trick you should learn.

I'd have to diagree with you DK, the most important thing is to learn how to fall safely. I like to fall with style.

I'm working on the bounce bomb ! run as fast as you can hook a hoof in the road raise your hand to your head and let your chest bounce on the road ! It's not how hard you hit the road it's how far you slide ! So far I've had shoulder pains for 3 days !

How about the 'Wet Leaf Split'?? when you put your bock onto said wet leaf and your foot keeps going 4ward, winner is the person who does the best splits, and can still get up after! :o

i have had my bocks so long and i have never been able to get up from the floor neva fallen so i havnt acctually tried i found the best way to get up if u are on the floor is take 1 off and then put it back on wen ur standing!

lol. I tried getting up on my own the other day, failed horribly. My knee bars may be too high because I find steps hard (lifting the leg bit). Can some-one look at my PJ's on Sunday to tell me if they need lowering?

I read this the other day and thought that I havn't needed to get up off the floor since I broke my wrist so I tried
I now find that I need a small step or rise in the ground to push off from really annoying as I could do it easily before (more practice needed now)

i no another way of getting up for small people and all you need a a person on the ground or on stilts and if you rest your amr on there hand then push up you would get enough hieght to put your leg forward and stand up and the perosn heping on stilts dosent fall over because the weight of the perosn fell over eeps the stilts balanced ;D

Getting up unaided is one of them things that some manage straightaway without even thinking about it but others find it difficult.

If you can't swing your leg under and around try this.
Rolling onto your side
Straighten the top leg ( forward a bit even )
Bend the bottom leg back ( As if kneeling )
Taking your weight on your elbow rotate and place your upper arm on ground next to it.
You can push yourself upright ( one legged kneeling ) while bending your straight leg infront of yourself.
Once you've done it a couple of times you'll be able to get up quickly before too many people laugh at you ;D

I couldnt do it, untill I saw someone at CiN do it, then I saw how easy it is, and now its second nature! practice makes perfect, just like everything!

haha im quite new to powerizers got some for me birthday i can run walk and jump but i still cant get up either haha i need.
when i do fall over i usually find something to grab onto that usually helps i just cant seem to get me legs in the right place for it lol

Hello spacecake.
If you're new to bocking and cant get up by yourself yet, don't worry about it. Bock near to walls or trees and hope for the best.
However, if you desperately want to learn to stand up, and can get your legs round far enough, try stretching before you bock.

we have a few ways of getting up in sky high, ill stick a lil video together when im next editing , i think k-rocks way will interest some people.

Neither can I, do not seem to have the strength or technique. After falling the following happens
1) Check to see nothing hurts
2) Check to see who was watching
3) Idenify nearest wall, signpost, tree etc
4) If no one is watching crawl towards target
5) Use any means neccessary to get up
6) Continue

I can't either... I could on my junior ones though. I put it down to the fact I have long legs and i'm even higher on the adult ones, plus i can't balance too well.
I just find trying not to fall in the first place is good, or take someone along with you whos tall and get them to walk besides you, so if you feel like you are going to fall grab onto them!
If you do hope that you are with someone strong to pull you up!!

Ive found that with the trainers over the hoof of my bocks (and tire socks if you are that way inclined) help tremendously!! The added length of the trainers grip along the back of the hoof means that I can grip on anything better and for longer, thus helping in getting up!

Sorry I never post falls like that I send a copy to the person if they are happy to post it fine, but I don't !

Hey, sorry I havent replied sooner. my trainers I use are a size 11. But the best thing to do is take your bocks to wherever you get some cheap trainers from and try them for size!
