Lincoln gymfest may 30th

Gym meets will be held at the gym in bury approx every 3 weeks once we get back into things after the kite fest. If in the summer it is too hot for gym and outdoor meets are popular then the gym will happen every 6 weeks instead, if needs be.

Lots of outdoor meets in the summer at the mo and we are well above the meet every 2 weeks mark.

Gutted! But yeah Go for it! Howabout you do the gym stuff and I do the norwich stuff and we can talk about dates together?

Note to greggles...it works! Na, I got a general oppinion before I did it. Then said this is what is going to happen apposed to do you think this will work I want it to. I dont really know how you said it but unless you are certian yourself people dont buy into it. Lets make it happen :biggrin:

If anyones up for a Peterborough meet feel free to add that on the list too.. It pretty easy to get to for most people an towns not to far from the train or bus station..

Bit of an update and few ideas for next meets. The next meet we have on is Norwich 21st of feb. Then we dont have anything solid for after that so I am trying to keep momentum going.

I would really like to get in the gym some more and I think others would like to aswell so, there is a gym in bury that greggles can book for us.

What do people think of 28th of feb? It's a sat and would be for 2 hours. Cost £38 split between the amount of people going.

If you can let me know as soon as possible that would be great coz greg is hoping to book the gym if we want it within the next few days.

One more thing. There is a lincoln meet on the 7th of march too. Is anybody thinking of going to this one?

Bury is gonna happen :) Looks like we can get enough people together to make it worth while so it's gonna go ahead and are lovely greggles is going to book it for us this week :)

Ok, I am trying to keep things rolling so I am suggesting a meet on the 21st of march in Norwich, we have lost the forum, but, its the best places, I want to win it back and you know, we havnt really looked around much but the main reason I want a norwich meet soon is for our latest members ;) What u think?

What i am thinking is that we have proper regular meets...we are sorta there with the gym. Every third weekend right? But I think we need an outside meet too...especially with the weather getting better.

Now..there are lots of other meets to think about. And maybe the date shoudl be flexible because it can be and there are other meets elsewhere. Like Lincoln meets/gymfests..ect ect really.

So what I am saying is I think we should have the gym meet on every third weekend and an outside meet one of the other weekends but keep it flexible ;)

What you think? Outside meet every month good idea? Bad idea? Flexible good? Or should it be a certain time every month? Just let me know what you think lol :)#

BTW...if you saying then then there will be an outside meet every month lol...and it will be flexible :) its what we are doing already really..but I was thinking at the start of this we should have it a certain time...and by the time I finished I just thought it would be better if we made sure we had one :D

u said 23rd and coz it was in april u said it and at the end of the month i thaught u would b meaning that ther is a meet on the 23rd of may

I was at the No Fit State Circus the other day, and during a briefing I noticed "EA Bockers if dry" written on the whiteboard. Later on I met a guy on bocks... but he didn't know of the EA bockers or that there was a forum on Pro-Jump. ...I thought this was kind of weird since he bought the stilts from this site and he had tyre armour...but I guess it's possible he hasn't heard of you. So I told him to check out the forum and look you guys up. =)

I forget his name...but if you do go down to the circus in the next few days keep an eye out for him. =) He was wearing new model stilts with spring armour and a red vest with a tribal graphic on it. Hopefully you can help him get into it more. =) He's only just started, but he's already running and jumping about, and interested in learning flips.

Get some pics if you do perform. =) I have some nice ones of me flipping off the stage (on my feet, not stilts), but they're on a friends camera.

I don't know this guy brendan. But I know that the EAs are known by the weds circus group so there was probs an assumption. But awesome. I was thinking of heading down there but coursework says no :(

Not sure exactly, but it took us nearly an hour to walk there from Chapelfield. They have a big top but the show takes place outside so it's free to watch. They have a pretty awesome circular stage set up with towers for bungee artists (like the trampoline/bungee things you get at fairgrounds).

They don't do anything really spectacular, but since it's free it might be worth going to see the final performance. ...Plus they have crash mats. ;) lol.

Any bus towards the UEA will stop near by. The number 25 bus goes for sure. There is another too but I don't remember the number! Might go check it out then :)
