RRparlbystumble Posts:260 | June 20, 2010, 04:48:45 PM hmm maybe they just lightly vary they whay they asseble the parts, for example skyrunners i have notoiced use more welding on joints than pro jumps:/ |
Bbmthbloke Posts:2363 | June 20, 2010, 04:08:06 PM its only makers say they not the same....i suspect they r all from the same factory...else they wouldnt fit so neatly....tho im probably wrong |
RRparlbystumble Posts:260 | June 20, 2010, 02:15:50 PM ALL FIXED almost used the vertical strut from the skyrunner might hold for a little longer as it uses bolts not rivets any idea if it affects the balance if the the struts arn't the same on each stilt? |
Bbmthbloke Posts:2363 | June 20, 2010, 06:49:52 AM they will ive 'loaned' out loads of skyrunner parts to peeps |
RRparlbystumble Posts:260 | June 19, 2010, 09:58:09 PM shit also just noticed that the support rods have snapped hopefully my spares will fit |
RRparlbystumble Posts:260 | June 19, 2010, 09:56:34 PM okay thankyou so much guys okay so to fix the rivets i take it i need to remove the kneebar and the plastic casing? |
Nero Posts:1293 | June 19, 2010, 09:44:22 PM yeah drunkenstuntman has sheered the rivets in that bracket before, you can just get some bolts and sort it easy enough, we went to halfords, then fixed the stilt on the bus between bocking spots |
Jason Posts:5287 | June 19, 2010, 09:08:49 PM I have seen that joint both riveted and bolted So just stick some rivets or bolts in it and it should be as good as new |
RRparlbystumble Posts:260 | June 19, 2010, 08:53:07 PM i have no clue in hell how i manged this , looking at it closely the kneebar bracket scraped off the pins holding into the plate guess i'm gonna have to use the dreaded spare skyrunner parts....yuck!-.- |
