I've now had a delivery of the rubber that I used on my socks at Capital Bocking
See this post for more info and pics
http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=921.0
I have enough to make 6 sets so If anyone wants some it works out at £6 + p&p Total £7-50
I can only take payment by Paypal or Postal orders at the moment
For this you will get 2 strips of rubber approx 350mm x 75mm
My ones from london have had about 15 hrs so far and are still going strong (and they can be turned over ) I found the grip to be better than any tyre sock I have tried
If you want a pair ask on this thread first and I will Pm you details
Now the boring bit
I am selling you a bit of rubber to do what you like with (no guarantees) it worked as a tyre sock for me
Pro-jumps only connection with this is that they let me post here (Thankyou PJ) They do not in any way endorse this stuff

could i have a pair please jason,

Can you take cheques through post?
-
Now this is a delicate one while I trust everyone on the forum ;D if a cheque bounces (due to no fault of the sender of course ) the bank will charge me £15 to represent it normaly without asking me so as you can see I would be out of pocket so I can't really take the chance If you havn't got a paypal account postal orders are easy to get at any main or sub postoffice
Sorry about this but I won't be making much out of selling these (almost enough to cover my time on minimum wages) so I can't take the risk

i think you might be getting alot of business selling these jason.
one quesiton what size jubilee clip would we need?
-
The ones I tend to use are marked " size 3 55-70 mm " I have used smaller in the past but it makes it difficult to fit them
And DK had an idea to make tyre socks in general easier to fit warm them up first I've yet to try it but it makes sence
Just remember to tape the ends of the jubilee clips down so they don't catch on anything

yes please jason pm me

Does help makes the tyre softer to work with and I re-did my tyres, I wasn't happy about the side ways slip :/
Been using the days and they've not even moved ;D

To everyone who sends me anything remember that if you send it 1st class and get proof of posting if the worst happens and it goes missing you can then claim from the postoffice
I have lost 3 things in the post this year 2 not worth anything and one expensive and I got all my money back from the post office so it does work
-
If you have any left now jason could you pm me some details over my sox didnt wrk aswell as i hoped i wore thru them had about 30 hrs of use but was hard use could turn um over but its like a fabric underneath and slides rli badly
-
When I say mine can be turned over I mean that the bit that goes over the top of the hoof can be used under the hoof so the worn bit is then over the top (on show) because the backing on this is a nylon fabric and would slip badly the other way up
-
i know wot u meant bout turnin um over lol
-
yo jason...
yeah i may get some off you soon...
