marmite on toast delish marmite sandwichs are ok but only if its soft bread marmite on its own is horible and marmite crisps are horible :P

I've used it as a chip dip at a party once
Then again we where also rolling ham around chocolate fingers and pineapple chunks, pickle onions, salad cream , salt'n'vinegar crisps :o
Very long story, and no one got sick !? Drunks can eat anything ;D

When German scientist, Liebig discovered that brewer's yeast cells could be concentrated, bottled and eaten, Marmite was as close to being invented as it's possible to be, without actually having being invented...
It was in 1902 that the Marmite Food Company (later Marmite Ltd) was set up in Burton on Trent. Our mission, then as now, was to share the joy of Marmite-eating and make it available to all those with excellent taste.
It took a while to get the machinery and manufacturing process right, but soon enough we started producing great quantities of the spread you know and love today. (Cue widespread celebration and dancing in the streets!)

Marmite crisps... the best flavor ever. the only good flavor left in fact. They stole my BBQ and swapped it for BBQ rib... but note they are bringing some flavors back like wostershire sauce. Maybe good old BBQ will be next..

I love the crisps lol....when I was at school and living at home I used to get the bus from outside the post office...I used to eat marmite crisps from there every day..and astro belts. Just to make up for when i was living at another place where I ate....yukky stuffs. I stashed tonnes of marmite crisps there...and sherbet. And when i went to germany for a bit I took 12 packs LOL..they dotn taste as good now :( and what happened to BBQ crisps..they were also the best..

I've not tried Marmite in years.
Did you know there in a promotional gift with Mermite that the momment. It's a jar size Paddington bear which comes with the jar.

I don't like marmite on toast, sandwiches, whatever... but I like Twiglets. I think it's because twiglets are dry and crunchy, where as marmite has a weird, slightly vomit-enducing texture to it.
