How to assemble and fit Hoofies
To start this is what you get to make a Hoofie (you get 2 in a set ;D )
If you have the later bolt on rubber hoofs you will have 2 large washers and 2 small (for each hoofie)
-
Take a bolt, washer and the short nylon strap and assemble thus
-
Now thread the bolt through the rubber base like this
-
Next bend the front of the rubber base back and thread the bolt through the front hole
-
Fit a washer and nut to the bolt
On the later bolt on rubber type these washers on the inside are the small ones
-
Slide the Hoofies label onto the nylon strap (optional :) ) and thread the second bolt like the first
Now the hard bit pull the front of the base up and thread the blot through first the back hole then the front (same as other side)
-
Fit another washer and nut and it should look like this
On the later bolt on rubber type these washers on the inside are the small ones
-
Tighten both nuts while keeping everything straight make sure they are very tight so this much thread sticks into the Hoofie
-
The front should look like this now
-
Take the long strap and thread it throught the rubber base from the back like this note which way up the strap is
-
It should look like this
-
Thread the strap through the second hole and pull it tight down against the base
-
It should look like this at the back you can now repeat all this on the second hoofie but put the strap through from left to right (other way)
-
Now to fit them
Look at the front of the hoofs on your Pro-jumps they should look like this the 2 yellow marks are to show where the bolts on the hoofies hook over the rubber hoofs
-
Take the hoofie and push it on to the front of the hoof as shown (push it very hard all the way on)
-
Here is a pic of the bolt position once it is on
-
This is how it should look from the top
-
Now take the strap guard
-
And velcro it on just above the hoof like so (this is important as the top edges of the frame can be sharp you should check this occasionaly for wear)
-
Thread the long strap through itself as shown
-
Now while keeping everything straight and even pull the strap tight
-
Pull it over and velcro shut as shown ( it has to be quite tight )
-
Pass the strap round the back
-
Pull it tight
-
Attach to the velcro at the front and your done now do the other one
-
How to put the toes into a hoofie bit poor quality but it shows the tecnique for putting them on
These have been on and off a few times but when they are new they are very stiff for the first 3 of 4 times but loosen up the more you use them
