Title: PINHEAD69's mods - innertube on the kneebar
Post by: PINHEAD69 on October 15, 2007, 04:23:43 AM
the next mod is an innertube on the kneebar...
it looks better than tape and looks much neater..
it takes much patience to put this on without tearing it...
i used small pliers... ps...do not lubricate...it can perish the rubber
from underneath within time....
underneath is the gripper tape... most wouldnt need it
but i find it helps with the trainers i wear....

Is there a water based lubricant which is rubber safe that can be used?

you could tape the bar first..that would make it easier
to apply.... but.... either way....this takes time and patience...
as its awkward...you could use washing up liquid in a very small ammount
but previous encounters with rubber shows this can perish overtime...
you have to feed it on and work it down..
dont pull it...or wooops theres a rip....
