Anyone here on Xbox live? If so, whats your GT, and what you play?
My GT is Lurchenstien. All i play online at the moment is Halo 3.

i got xbox 360 and just got skate there yesterday it is amazing i thinks its really good
still haven't played halo 3 but every one says it is the best. TRUE?

Yeah that skate looks good. As for Halo 3, if you're lookin for somethin better than Halo 2, then Halo 3 is it. Personaly, I got kinda bored of it within a month, but I think that had a lot to do with every other match being a bloody 'Shotty-sniper' game.

I think it depends on age & the types of games you like as well, I find "serious" gamers prefer the xbox or ps2 /ps3 but others and kids prefer the wii.

People who like violent games, serious gamers who want realistic graphics and crazy game obsessed teenagers who never wash their hair have Xboxes and playstations. They should do what Nintendo is doing and aim their games at different people.

Wii's are better than PS3 and Xbox 360 cos Wiis use new gaming abilites but the others use old gaming abilities like wiimotes use moition to control the game play but xbox and PS3 dont and wiis are smaller and lighter and have great graphics the xbox 360 has a problem when my mate try's to plat gears of war and halo 3 they freeze he has been through sevrel xbox 360's in 2 months and still the same happens and PS3 were put together far to quickly and have the potentiole to break but i do like the xbox 360 and ps3 but the wii is in a whole new league

i didnt find it hard to read =) and its not the controller that matters if you are a serious gamer and dont want to play mickey mouse sh*t then you would get a 360, it has better graphix and better games + the live version for it is more fun than the wii as the wii only has 2-5 games avalible to play online. also the motion bit is the same as some xbox games like where you use the sniper rifle for a game i cant remeber called but its just like time crisis.

Na u all wanna get PS3 its awesome, and magzzie i cant see how u can say it was built too quick it was delayed launch dates like 2 times because it wasnt ready, even then they didnt release it unitll it was completely ready. and i have never had any probs with mine, the gaming quality is amazing.

yes but it was supposed to go out those 2 times but they were trying to rush it out so it would come out with the others and i mean PS1 PS2 are light but that thing is so heavy my friend (other friend) has it and cant play some old ps2 games on it i really do think it is a waste in money but hey that is my opinion so Wii's are better but that is cos i love nintendo

Ouch expensive! I have not played on any of the consoles yet. Not too bothered either. My PC meets my gaming needs. And I dont really have time for it.
Same here, got loads fo games old and new for my PC, i can buy a BD-Rom for £160 instead of paying Sonys rip off price of £400 or less.. PC's can be upgraded when you need to which u cant do with Consoles

With the appaling quality of my Xbox Live (Not connecting/getting games) and my Xbox (Freezing, breaking) I doubt I would get to play at all :rolleyes:

Proberly aboud £1000. I have been saving for ages. Only £200 to go. Was gonna get one of dell and the proces and Pcs change on there all the time so will see. Quad core is supposed to be very good for video editing so thats what i need.

i know somewhere in lincoln that sells quad-cores 2.4ghz for about £170 and no its not PC world, Currys or any other big shop

Thats cheap.. still think I will get the dell one as it comes with blu ray, a nice wide screen and tv card and stuff.

Please do not buy a dell, I own a dell and I hate it, i wished I had a toshiba or compaq, mine has enough power to run vlc media player, and Alias Studiotools along with AutoCAD2006/2007

Sorry I'm gonna. I have used the quad core I want and its really good. I'm currently using a dell and no probs. I duno wat the other computer is. I got it for £65 dual core and 1gb ram. Thats a good un too. was previously used for graphic design until the business went bust. :banana:

You got a big bargain there spub, for gaming on a PC you need a quad core and the best graphic card you can afford as the game requirements move up so fast you just have to keep on upgrading.
Up until 3 years a go I prefered pc gaming but I found that you needed to upgrade too often to play the latest games, in the end I gave up and buy consoles now insted and tbh hardly have time to play on them lol.... but the nephew and neices ain't complaining as they have hijacked them!

I know what you mean but memory is so cheap now its easy to upgrade. i know it was a steal and i'm well pleased. Came with Xp and office 2007, adobe photoshop and illustrator too oh and an illeagaly downloaded version of shawn of the dead lol

Got one for the kids, the hard drives went on it twice within the first month, then once again...
but I took out extended warranty and I have to say they came out within 24hours both times and sorted it. Luckily wasnt much work on there so didnt lose anything but 3rd time I kicked up a fuss and they gave me a replacement and upgraded the ram and graphics and the hdd

the wii isnt just for kids >:(
some games might look childish (zack and wiki, mario) there still hard games, and then theres resi evil games, ghost squad no more heroes and alone in the dark and their 15s. nintendo aim for all ages thats why its got some kiddy games on

not really true as next to no game developers write games to use dual core cpus fully yet (crysis being the only one that springs to mind), a quad is overkill and will be for a year or so yet.
smack on with the graphics card though, currently the nvidia 8800gts is the one to own, the 512 ram version.
but as Naz said pc gming is a fast moving business and your gonna want a rig you can overclock, or your gonna need to stay upto date on graphics cards at least.
