why do people put gafa tape on there springs?

people do not put gaffa tape on their springs! Tape is used to protect the springs from damage in a fall, this post may help you http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=408.0

Its a very good idea

It gives your spring extra protection  ;)

I just used a bike inner tube, has worked for me, lol

lots of people have the right idea by doing it Straight away as soon as they start.. as this is the time when your learning when your more likely to bang your springs against each other and against concrete surfaces..

we noticed that on the very first time we put them on we had a few large chunks into the springs .. after taping .. all the tape takes the flack.. and you can re-tape them after each day if you need to.
