Post by: Nero on November 26, 2007, 12:36:06 AM
i was just thinking are there any?
if not i had an idea
what im thinking about is competative competitions sort of like breakdancing formatted things where you have 2 teams of individuals or even many people where you trick of against the opposing team?
what do you guys think?

Something like a Mini Bocking Olympics was being planned by Original Two and few others but then nothing happened. It was going to be a competition where bockers of all abilities could take part.  :)

Your style of competition sounds fun maybe how many moves people can string up together etc the posibilities are endless  ;D

yeah you know, looking on you tube and the net i see about 10 staple moves if you include the un crowd pleasing tuck.
now i was a thai boxer when i was younger and im interested to see if i can get any of the jumping kicks out on my pj's when im a bit better, all new people to the sport will think about different tricks or how to do existing tricks differently.
i think competition is a good way to elevate the level of a sport and the awareness.
there is a thread around about a bocking playground, where you could hold a skateboard style event where your marked on how much of the equipment you trick off say and then how well you link tricks together again.
yeah like i say its just thoughts, but its obvious that people on the street and around the world are amazed by what were doing on these things and at the end of the day you could sell a SHED LOAD of tickets to an exciting event like this.

thats me out of the comp first at the minute then sx

I may stay up Naz, I am getting very good at balance, pull of double spring grabs, holding the springs, star jumps, straddles, and split kicks, without falling over!! Well maybe once, because of clipping a kerb, and trying to leap frog over trixter, and getting my footing wrong, but that is it!! :P
