Hi Nephew
The difference between the Tyre socks that most people make and Hoofies is that the tyre socks are fitted and stay on with jubilee clips so take 10 to 15 mins to change
The hoofies are made to be removed in less than a minute and replaced with Studdies for use on grass of if you want to go into a gym so they don't mark the floor
The other main difference is the rubber compounds they are made of My tyre socks lasted about 2 to 3 weeks of average use the Hoffies have just worn out after 3 months use
Also a lot of people that have used them find the grip level better on the Hoofies in the wet
Lastly many people on here expressed the feeling that tyre socks were ugly so I came up with a better looking version
Well thats the manufactures opinion so lets throw it open to the people that have bought Hoofies and what they think

Thanks Naz
You youngsters are so much better with technology than us oldies ;D
I never would have found that
-
thx for that
nephew
although i no that the material is cheaper,
-
I think Jason also sells the material used to make hoofies or atleast he used to.
But a normal tyre sock would cost cheaper initially, but the hoofies seem to be more cost effective over time.

No nephew, I cut up bits of mountain bike tyre and jubilee clip them on :) , I don't make hoofies.
Real hoofies are much neater and If I wasn't so tight, I'd probably buy some ;D
