Depends what you class as "rough ground".

The best ground to bounce on is, scarey as it sounds, concrete. Cos you know where u are with concrete!

Grass is ok provided you've got socks on - these can be read about elsewhere, use the SEARCH at the top of the screen, you need socks for the grip, otherwise you cant step very wide/long at all until you slip.

Sand, gravel and dusty paths are to be avoided as this can result in slips and bails, not to mention grit in your joints which isnt good to man nor machine.

Water, bad idea, as is oily patches such as roads and petrol stations. Having worked in a Petrol station, rubber and diesel is a BAD combo and slip central. I crossed through a bus lane the other month and slipped so watch out!

I've just spent a few hours doing cross country walking on my bocks having never attempted anything like this before. I don't have socks on mine at the moment (old ones wore out) but I didn't have too much of a problem apart from the cattle grids - they really do work! lol Caught both my hooves in the gaps but managed (just) to stay upright. I'm going to try it again but I'll put socks on first just for a little more grip on loose surfaces.
I did fall eventually, but that was kangahopping on a downhill uneven path so I guess I should have expected it, thank god for wristguards!

here's my pics:

Wow

Your pictures look pretty cool.

We have a competition running for safety gear so feel free to add some

as you have to be in it to win it!  :D

(That sounded a bit cheesy I know)

Hi Kiola,
this time it wasn't Smurf taking the pics, it was my girlfriend who should soon be taking some promo pics of myself, Smurf and Dimmu doing stilts, poi (inc. fire poi) and fire breathing.
Our local landlady has kindly loaned us her beer garden - complete with stage -  to practice in  :D
I'll post a few when they're done.
