Hey all
After a long wait due to the shockingly awful weather me and my friends were finally able to go out bocking today and had a really good day jumping about and impressing people haha ..
But i can't help but wonder if there is a Big difference between Powerisers and Pro-Jumps?
The most noticeable thing when just walking is that my bocks are Alot louder than my 2 friends, which isn't really a problem, just means people know i'm coming a mile off haha.
but the biggest thing for me is the amount of bounce/springyness[isthataword?] and height my friends are able to get more than me... We're all roughly the same skill or technique 'Level' So it's not to do with technique.
I've been on both there stilts and even when just standing about there is a noticeable difference in how much the spring compresses[Me trying to sound smart =)] compardd to my pro jumps. I'm able to get alot higher on them than i can on my own, and they also feel alot more comfortable... Both there stilts are a weight group lower than mine so that could possibly have somethign to do with it

I'm not bothered about the fact they are able to get higher or futher than me, it's just that i can get alot higher myself in there [EDIT] Powerisers / Stilts *-)

Iniatially I thought you meant you have Pro-Jumps because of this comment...

But reading it I thought your friends have PoweriSers as you asked the question about the difference between PoweriSers / Pro-Jumps but then at the end you wrote:

Which makes it sound like your friends have Pro-Jumps too :-\

i just get carried away when writing haha ..
It's just everything around me on this page screams PRO-JUMPS! so i just got a little lost when writing it (:

They have Powerisers or PoweriZers??

Ummm to be honest it's hard to judge the spring differences...
Reason:
PoweriSers come in the following springs weights:
PR3050 30kg-50kg
PR5070 50kg-70kg
PR7090 70kg-90kg
PR90120 90kg-120kg
As they go up in 20kg bands I assume that they would be more stiffer to make sure they are right for the person at the higher weight. However Pro-Jumps only go up in 10kg weights so the band is more specific...
Example if your friends have the PoweriSer 50-70kg ones then the spring you should compare it with would be the M70 in the Pro-Jumps for the comparison to be fairer. If you have the M60's then in theory you won't get as high on the Pro-Jumps as you would on the 50-70's.
Having said that other factors will also come into play such as how long the springs have been used etc, after the iniatial stiffness you should start getting a higher bounce, sometimes when you replace your old springs with new springs of the same weight, you should be able to get higher on them!
Have your friends tried your pro-jumps? Can they get higher on them than you?

i think they have the 70 - 90's and i have the M80's
Yeah they've tried them out and they think they're real stiff .. As soon as they stand up they comment on the fact that the spring doesn't seem to move at all when just taking baby steps...
They have powerisers [no Z] .. Theres are relatively worn in and mine are fairly new

That's the main reason for the difference ;)
Give your Pro-Jumps some more hours, as soon as you start "breaking them in" you should get a lot higher on them. :thumbs:
