Hi all,
I've seen Pro-Jump mentioned on BBC News this morning (in a piece on Sport Relief), and was quite intrigued.
Are there any venues in the London area where I might see whether I'm even capable of maneuvering with these stilts?
I might even end up commuting into Central London at some point... ;)

if your in london i believe that some people sometimes gather at hyde park with bocks dont know if they still do or not though

Welcome to the forum, its good to see that the report today has got people interested :)
We have a few london based bockers who I'm sure wouldn't mind you having a go if you can attend their meets, there is also the Kent invicta bockers who are close and the Essex Power Bockers that are near by, but its a case of someone been nice enough to let you try their :) There did use to be a few lads from another company that use to bock at Hyde Park on Sunday's but I don't think they do that anymore.

I think that was summer and after exam time

Thanks for the quick and friendly responses!
I'll move to London in April, and it's not certain yet where exactly I'll end up living.
So I guess I'll get back at you once I have more details.
Looking forward to it!

Jason I've let a girl about Becky's size try my pair on .
Your right that you really need to find someone who pair match your weight but as it's only the spring that different.
If it just try a balance and a bit of a walk/wobble then the spring size doesn't really matter ?

That'd be the Docklands then.
Any powerbocking activities in that area?

I bock in central london most days (Covent garden area ) but I'm never sure what time it will be or how long as I am working and have to take time when I can
But Hanworth is only a tube and bus or train ride away (about 15 miles from central london) so your welcome to come over on a sunday
I think we might be doing CiN again this year and that will be Central (if you can wait that long)
Of there might be a meet in london sooner ( I now know a few good spots )

Really? I would've thought that you need a park or some less-populated area... !?

Thanks - I might take you up on that after I've settled in.

Good point (d'oh :banghead: ).
I've activated notifications for the UK Meets (http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?board=49.0) board now, so I should be informed whenever something comes up.
