yea.. take them apart completely and spray all the aluminium parts for best results..  i hope to do it to my New set of springs when i have the skill to completely rebuild them..

i saw a pair of blue ones on Ebay once and completely respraying the aluminium makes them look pretty good :P

it would be best to buy a complete new set of LockNuts to do all your joints back up with (just to be safe) but some didnt and they say its fine... but its best to be safe than sorry.

its a BIG job and you will need a lot of time to do it.. patience and a bit of skill .. good luck if any1 decides that they want to do it.. and make sure you post pics of the results -  Good or Bad ;)

There must be a primer you can use. Go to Halfords or B&Q they should have something that will do the job

or take them to a crash repair centre and have a cuick chat with the spray paint department  they will know all about witch primers will stick to the metal frame

they might even offer to spray them for you, for a drink or something  ???

i cant place a bet on this but it cant do any harm asking :D
