Spring are simple to change :)
When you contact them for a pair ( best to buy matched pair ) tell them your on the forum and say their cheaper ( £10 I think ) ;)
-
Undo the top bolt and nut and the bolt and nut where the hoof joins the crossframe (13 and 14mm)
Then undo the bottom bolt and nut (13+14mm again), and the smaller ones (10mm), and should all come apart. Then simply put the new spring in place and do that in reverse.
-
Make sure you get the forum discount, for £75 a pair :)

Charlie, re how long should springs last. My formula is this. Take out transport and gym costs etc. Just take cost of stilts and protective gear ( pads, tyre sox/hoofies etc), add them up divide by number og hours you have been on them. Bocking should cost less than £1 an hour before serious maintenance or money spent. And should be nearer 50p

i got to order new springs too charlie, I will make a spring changing guide for you ;)

Thanks to everyone for your help
Bought 95 kgs as suggested by Naz, managed to take them apart and then put them back together without major issues.
Just starting to break them in and it begins to rain like hell, and this is forcast for the wekend.
