Title: Brand confusion much?
Post by: Mangobyte on June 01, 2008, 05:00:30 AM
Heya,
I'm utterly new to the bocking thing, and have no clue about the differentiations between "good" and "bad" brands.  I just ordered a pair of "poweriser pros" from xphub, but have no bloody clue how that measures up to other brands.  Did I screw up here, or will that be alright for a first-timer?  I'm in the US, by the way, so my options are kinda limited as far as retailers, it seems.  Either way, I'm totally stoked about gettin em, and don't want to be disappointed by some poorly-manufactured crap.  Any input or thoughts or experience that might help?

Hi there and welcome. Yep they are Ok. Where abouts are you in the States?

You may wish to Pm  'XS'  he is basically the Guru of all things States-side ---and quite alot elsewhere.

Northern California, Redding area.  Yeah, I originally ordered from xphub based on another post by XS.  I wish someone would pull a fully international brand and stomp out all these different poweriser, powerizer, skywalker, jump flyer, projump, etc.  Nothing against any of the brands, but I wish there was just one, seriously :D

Anyone else in Far Nor Cal?

EDIT: by the way... I got the "110-160 lb" model, and I generally weigh in between 120 and 130; is that appropriate?
