Title: Pro-Jump Elites
Post by: w00dst3r on June 06, 2008, 12:40:54 PM
Hey everyone.

I'm just new to this forum altho I use poweriser pages too.

about a month ago I first saw the elites on this website.

there was a box where you could place an order of interest in buying the elites - It seems to have been removed though.

I would like to show interest in buying the elites, does anyone know how i could go about this.

also is there any knew hearsay on when they will be availible?

sorry if these questions have already been asked, ive not had time to look through all the other forums. :PJR:

Hi there

The Elites advertised on the forum and on the site are no longer going to be brought in due to minor design flaws, you should be able to find old threads on this topic if you search on the forum. The preorder page can still be found here http://www.pro-jump.co.uk/sitepage/Register-for-Pro-Jump-Elites.html

The manufacturer is working on a similar model and we are hoping these will be available at some point soon, however it is quite a few months away now and I wouldnt want to name a time.

If you register your interest as soon as the new versions become available someone will email you and updates will be on the forum as well.

Hope this helps.

Oh. I thought that they were going to be elites with the bugs fixed but something different is being designed..kinda..

Are these still going to be called elites?

Not even thought about it Spud but I'll assume they will have a name change to avoid confusion but then never know!

Naz, what were the actual main problems with them? I guess most were wear and tear issues? The only major issue i found with the prototype urm airrunners i think i tried, were the crappy bindings, but that was easy to solve, plus the calf cuffs, put you could easily go back to a knee bar. I just loved them cos they were so light....:(

Our testers actually thought the foot straps were quite good although we were going to change them to bindings, again the cuff they liked when the inside magnets were removed, however we felt that the strap fittings on the calf needed to be stronger. There was an issue with footplate itself too. The new ones are a similar design, with few adjustments and hopefully will be almost as light.
