Title: where 2 learn
Post by: adr1an on December 04, 2006, 03:26:52 PM
i have just recived my pro jumps only to realise that there is nowhere in my local area i can learn safley during the day. My back garden only has a small path around it and  covered with moss so there is no traction, having a gravel drive is also a problem so that only leaves the road out fron but i do not feel confiant enough to try taking my 1st step so near to a public highway. If anyone knows somewhere in the harrogate area that would be more suitabe can you please tell me.

I guess it depends what level you're at and how quickly you can pick things up.
If you can walk/run without help (like a wall) then I suggest a quiet path with paved/tarmac footpaths  or a large carpark on a quiet day (just be alert for cars reversing etc and try to find an area with no cars at all).
Failing that, promenades are really good, civic centres usually have lots of space and concrete.
