Title: Should I get child or adult?
Post by: Krispi on September 27, 2008, 11:42:02 PM
Im sorta new to this whole bocking thing. A few weeks ago I met a circus performer who said I should get jumping stilts. After a few looks around I decided what and where I would get them.

Only now Im wondering. Because I weigh 40kg I was thinking to go with f50's. Now im wondering, should I wait untill Im old enough tall enough and heavy enough to get adult stilts or should child stilts be fine?

Id have thought youcould get an adult pair for much nearer $300   but no way get the kids

Most likely getting adult stilts now. Ill just pay dad back a bit of them money. All I need to do is hope that I can get them to fit.

tAh Oz  there are a few others in Sydney ( quite a group way up in Brisbane too)  Ill try and sort out some names for you.

If you find the top of the spring digs in to the back of your leg - it happens tothe shorter guys. Gofind some old style really thick flip-flop sandles andcut the straps off and glue or tape tofootplate --that should raise you up just enuff out of the 'danger zone'  or any other simarly sized hidensity foamy plastic will work.   oh and dont forget to buy pads ;D
