Post by: Springer on January 01, 2009, 04:40:45 PM
Went to the park today and got a couple of vids :)
Nothing particularly exciting but I would appreciate any tips or advice for improvement!

Looking good.

Try not bring the knees together when your walking and your toe are pointing a little outwards. Once you start running you may find you hit the spring together. Point the toes straight ahead and keep the legs a little bit apart, think of " Train tracks" or kicking a ball infront of you.

Pratice " bunny hooping" use both foot together when hold on  :)

Your walking is fine :) time to move on now and get some jogging/running in there or better yet, as suggested, grab that fence and start jumping. When you jump dig into your heels as hard as you can. The more weight in your heels, the more the spring does its work. Feels funny at first but hey, its bocking!

Hehe I did try some kanga hopping whilst holding onto the fence but it was so bad and tiny my dad didn't think it was worth videoing xD I suppose it's just practice!
And yes jogging is the next hurdle but I am such a wimp it'll probably take me a while!!

Most poeples hold a fance/rail/friend at start with.
I have a great picture for CB when a Bambi ( newbie with wobble legs ) did some bounces only to find out the hoofs never left off the floor it was just her spring bending. She looked a bit like this
